Intense and scary to go inside that part of Laura's brain and more importantly her heart. I like the foreshadowing of Bill's alcoholism that we see later on.

Glad Laura was wrong about Bill's fate in her absence.

Kindest regards,

Author's Response: I think by that point in Laura's life she would have known so many ways destruction can come, and really knew how random disaster can be. And how the universe has a cruel sense of irony sometimes. Those must have been agonizing days in more ways than one.

Wow, this was really great. I love the darkness in which you allow us to sink into, the deep psychological fears that Laura goes through. I like the way you pull us into her mind, allowing us all to wonder if mighty Zeus will ever return safely. Excellent.

Author's Response: Thanks so much for reading and reviewing! Hope, on NC, seems like such a double-edged sword, and Laura has had so much experience with sudden tragedy, I think it'd be hard for her to trust that hope sometimes. I'm so glad you liked this!
